We understand that not every child feels fully supported or comfortable in a traditional dance class and that’s exactly why we’re introducing our SEND Dance Classes. These classes are a safe, welcoming and judgement-free space where every dancer is encouraged to move, explore and enjoy dance in a way that feels right for them.

 

Our SEND classes are tailored to the dancers in front of us, adapting to individual needs while still following a familiar and reassuring class structure. Each session will include a gentle warm-up, technique work, a routine, and time for free movement and improvisation- all adjusted to suit your child’s pace and abilities.

To help your child feel safe, settled and supported, we kindly ask that a parent or carer remains in the studio for the duration of the class. Having a familiar adult close by offers reassurance for our dancers and allows us to work together to create the best possible experience for your child.

 

When booking, we ask parents/carers to complete the contact form below with a little information about their dancer and what you’re hoping to gain from the class. As this is a new offering for Dancecatz Romsey, we’ll remain flexible and responsive as we find the right class times, group sizes and structure to best support our dancers.
